What is a UBO extract?
UBO register contains details of the Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), which are the ultimate stakeholders of an organisation. A UBO extract contains information on the UBO(s) of an organisation. A UBO extract is only available digitally. It is also digitally certified with an electronic seal, so you can be sure that it comes from KVK. The UBO extract costs €3 (2025) and is only in Dutch. After ordering, you can download the UBO extract for up to 24 hours via My KVK.
Who can order a UBO extract?
You can order an extract from the UBO register if you:
- are authorised to sign. This means you can officially register, change information, or deregister an organisation in the Business Register. You can then see the UBO data for this organisation.
- are authorised to view UBO data on behalf of an organisation.
- Are you a UBO, but not authorised to sign? Then you cannot order a UBO extract. You can, however, view your own UBO data.
Who cannot order a UBO extract?
Do you have a BV with a holding structure? Then you may not be able to order a UBO extract for all the organisations you are involved in. This is the case, for example, if you are registered with a business as a director with another legal entity. It is only possible to order a UBO extract if you are registered as a natural person with this business. Then you can order an extract for subsidiary organisations directly under the holding company.
